I used the uber app when I was in Kyoto in June 2023.

I was able to use the Uber app to get a taxi in Kyoto.

I don’t think it was actually an “uber” driver, but rather, you can use the app to get a taxi.

Although when I was in Kyoto, I did see one taxi that did have an “uber” sticker.

But in the app, it won’t show that can select an “uber” car.

It will show that you can select a “taxi.”

 

You can pay on the app with your credit card as you would anywhere else!

It was simple!
