Well, walking through a few red torii gates in Tokyo might leave you a little less disappointed!
The Hanazono Inari Shrine of Tokyo doesn’t really compare to the Fushimi Inari Shrine of Kyoto, but you may still find it to be worth a visit if you’re in the area!
The visit to this Tokyo shrine won’t be long, and you could be done in 5-10 minutes.
Visiting Ueno Park
As the Hanazono Inari Shrine is located at the famous Ueno Park in Tokyo, you could make a walk through the torii gates a part of your visit to the park.
Ueno Park is kind of big, so just don’t forget to look for it!
This park is especially worth a visit during cherry blossom season.
There will be cherry blossoms all throughout the park so Ueno Park could be one of the best cherry blossom viewing spots in Tokyo!
Another reason you may be in the area is if you have plans to visit the Ueno Zoo.
